Pesto pasta

Traditional pesto sauce starts with one very important ingredient: basil. Fresh basil is abundant in farmers markets and can also be found in most local grocery stores

Other simple ingredients:
one cup of pine nuts – ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese – ½ cup of extra virgin olive oil – Salt and Pepper. Side note: I like to use onion, jalapeno, and a simple squeeze of lime. Mix all the ingredient together in a food processor. Serve on pasta with a small salad and there you go
