Healthy hair: treatment

Healthy hair I’ve been so inspired by natural hair ..actually this is something I’ve been considering for like the pass 3 years. I’m tired of my permed hair prematurely coming out, brittleness, dryness, and salons. Permed hair is permanent, therefore it’s going to take time for the perm to grow out. I have decided to cut 5 inches off and turn to protective styles until I get a decent amount of length for the “big chop”. This transition is exciting which I will hopefully never again go back to relaxed hair. If I’m going to go natural I figure I might as well start out by doing things the natural way. There are many different treatments/myths for transiting but I found this one to be good for a start’s simple and quite interesting ..lets begin

 The benefits of mayonnaise. The natural fats and oils in mayonnaise work as a deep conditioner for damaged hair. In the meantime, the vinegar in mayonnaise balances your hair’s pH. All you have to do is wet or spray your hair with warm water, then massage 1/4 cup of mayonnaise unto your scalp/hair. Cover your hair in a plastic bag for 1hour

The benefits of eggs. Eggs are pretty much a pure source of protein, keeping your hair healthy and thick. Apply 1-2 beaten egg in 1 cup of cool water, wet down your hair with cool water. Work the mixture into your hair and scalp with your fingertips. Wait 15-20 minutes, then rinse it out using cool water. Repeat once a week

The benefits of vinegar. Eliminates dandruff, dirt built up, and add shine to your hair. It is believed that the vinegar’s natural antifungal properties kills substances that can cause dirt build up and dandruff, it acidity strips your strands of residue from hair products. To make the vinegar rinse, combine 1 tablespoon of vinegar with 1 quart of water. Pour the mixture over your head as the final rinse before you get out of the shower
